Timezone is per facility, and load-bearing
Incident occurrence times, meal service dates, kitchen boards and shift windows all resolve from the facility's own timezone. A site three hours away does not file its incidents on the wrong day.
For operators running several communities
Facilities in different states keep their own timezone, their own reporting rules and their own record — while you get one place to look across all of them.

How CareIT AL fits
Incident occurrence times, meal service dates, kitchen boards and shift windows all resolve from the facility's own timezone. A site three hours away does not file its incidents on the wrong day.
There is no federal assisted living reporting standard, so reporting windows are stored per facility with a jurisdiction label. Each site counts down against its own state's rules.
Records stay scoped to their facility. Tenant isolation is covered by the automated test suite, not just by a WHERE clause somebody remembered to write.
Staff are assigned to facilities and switch between them without a second login — so the audit trail still names a person, not a site-specific alias.
The Small group plan covers up to 100 licensed beds across up to three facilities, under a single contract and a single implementation, with group-level exports for owner and licensing reporting.
